Most forget that this was a ten win team from a year ago. After the firing of Lane Kifin and the decision not to retain the interim head coach Ed Orgeron, a familiar face in Steve Sarkisian returned to his dream job. The effects of sanctions still echo and play a role in limited depth for the Trojans, but this is still USC, and it is still a national power. If injuries are extremely limited, this can be a very successful year, but that is a big if in a sport like football. Along with new coaches and systems, it's tougher to see this team winning the South Division. Double digit win seasons are an epidemic at USC, and there's a good chance that trend will continue.
