It is unsure if you can really say Bob Davies has been a success or failure in Albuquerque. He has yet to find a capable QB to run the offense he wants. He had an outstanding RB in Casey Carrier a few years ago, but he is gone and elite player is again absent from a team that has continually struggled to put points on the board. Games against local teams UTEP and New Mexico State are virtual must wins for a Lobos crew who figures to have a hard time with conference games once again. Five wins may be attainable for this team, but I would expect much more. Anything less than three, and Bob Davies might be back as a color analyst for ESPN fairly soon.
